World Archery of Ohio holds 6 Tournaments a year. Which includes an Adult Series and JOAD(Youth) Series.

J.O.A.D. Series

Ohio JOAD  Indoor Championship

The first of three tournaments for the State JOAD Shooter of the Year rankings. It is shot over a single day in Cincinnati on January 18th and 19th.  This tournament is only open to youth(20 and Under) shooters.  It is an indoor 600 round, shot on a 40cm or 60cm target depending on style and division.  There is a morning line and an afternoon line available to shoot. Awards are after the afternoon line.

Ohio Double 900

The second of three tournaments for the State JOAD Shooter of the Year rankings.  It is shot over 2 days in Dublin, Ohio on May 11th and 12th.  The tournament is open to both youth and adults. We shoot a 900 round on Saturday and an identical 900 round on Sunday. Saturday begins at 11am and Sunday at 9am.

On Saturday, immediately following competition we will have a fun team round consisting of at least recurve archer on each team of 3. The round will be shot at 50m on a 122cm target. There will be a set fee for the round per team, and it will be winner take all. We will also offer a youth team round with the same rules at 30m. More to come...

Ohio JOAD Outdoor Championship

This is the third of three tournaments for State JOAD Shooter of the Year rankings. It is shot over 2 days in Cincinnati, OH. The tournament is open to both youth and adults. We usually mimic nationals which as of late has been 4 360 rounds at the same distance(see your chart when available).  Awards are immediately following the second day.

The first day will be shot at 25m on a 60cm target, while the second day will be shot at 18m on a 40cm target. This tournament is open to both youth and adult archers.

Ohio FITA Field

The third of four Ohio Shooter of the Year ranking tournaments. This will be at Adams Conservation Club. We are still awaiting dates but the first day is 24 targets at unknown distance. While day 2 is 24 targets at a known distance. Don't let this scare you though, most people shoot a higher score on the unknown distance because the targets are actually closer. This event is open to both youth and adults.

Ohio Outdoor Championship

The final of four tournaments for the Ohio Shooter of the Year rankings. Shot in Toledo, Ohio. This tournament is usually a 4 distance FITA shot in reverse order(shortest to longest). This event is open to both youth and adults.  The first day is the two shortest distance's on 80cm targets. The second day is the two longest distances shot on 122cm targets. Last year we had record registration.
